Daily oral hygiene and regular checkups at the clinic, are the most important things to do in order to keep your teeth clean and healthy. Teeth brushing should be held twice a day (2 min each time) and it should be combined with the use of a mouthwash and dental floss or a waterflosser in order to clean the interdental spaces of the teeth that can not be reached by the toothbrush.

The dentists of Yakubiv dental clinic recommend professional dental cleanings one time every six months. Cleaning helps to prevent various dental diseases and also help against bad breath.\u00a0<\/div>
Professional cleaning includes scaling and teeth polishing. Firstly, an ultrasonic scaler removes mineralized dental plaque from teeth surface. After scaling, the dentist polishes the teeth with the use of a special polishing paste and a micro brush. The procedure usually takes 20-30 minutes.<\/div>
For children under the age of 16, after cleaning we recommend applications with fluoride (1 minute each jaw) to protect teeth from dental decay (carries).
